I am a nurse. I have worked nights for eleven years. I do not scare easily. At 3:15 AM I was walking the main corridor of Ward 6 to do obs checks. The corridor is long, well-lit, and always empty at that hour. Halfway down I saw a figure standing at the far end near the fire exit. Patient gown, facing the wall, completely still. I called out and began walking toward it. At about twenty metres it turned to face me. It had no features โ just a flat pale oval where the face should be. Then it walked into the wall. Not through a door. Into the solid wall. I stood there for probably a full minute before I moved. I checked the fire exit, the stairwell, the adjacent rooms. Nothing. I wrote it in my personal notes that night but not the official log. I've since spoken to a colleague who saw something similar in the same corridor six months earlier. She also didn't report it.
